Meeting minimum thresholds allows an application to be considered but does not guarantee admission. Illinois Tech uses a holistic review.

Illinois Tech reviews academic preparation, programme fit and the information provided across the application. Final offers follow an admissions committee interview.
Submit the online application
Create an account, select your programme and pay the ₹5,000 application fee.
Provide official documents
Upload transcripts and the required supporting material. Graduate applicants also submit a CV, statement and recommendation.
Add optional material
Undergraduate applicants may submit recommendations or ACT/SAT scores; these are optional and are considered holistically.
Admissions interview
Shortlisted applicants are invited to interview with the admissions committee before a final offer.
2026/27 refund policy overview
The application fee is non-refundable. Tuition refunds follow the formally notified admission deadline: 100% subject to a permitted deduction at least 15 days before; 90% within 15 days before; 80% within 15 days after; 50% between 16 and 30 days after; and no refund more than 30 days after.
Eligible refunds are processed within 15 working days after a complete withdrawal request and required documentation are received. Scholarship adjustments apply before calculating the refundable amount.
